How will you make an impact?

You will be responsible for the manufacturing, assembly, and/or packaging of Bioprocess Containers in a clean room environment. As a Production Technician, you will carry out the production process by closely following the Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instruction Documents and blueprints or drawings as they relate to assembly, materials handling, equipment operation, and finished goods packaging. This position requires following cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and working in a fast-paced team environment.

What will you do?

  • Following all safety requirements and cGMP requirements

  • Following work instruction document, standard operating procedures and standard works

  • Assembling product using specific written instructions, blueprints and drawings

  • Record correct and accurate documentation in Production Control Documents

  • Perform inspection of in-process and finished product

  • Participate in PPI (Practical Process Improvements), Lean and Continuous Improvement activities including 5S activities

  • Assist in training function of co-workers and mentoring

  • Daily Schedule adherence

How will you get here?

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

  • 2 years production experience (preferred)
  • 1+ years experience leading a team

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong analytical and Problem-solving abilities

  • Good verbal/written communication

  • Ability to follow complex procedures

  • Adherence to Good Manufacturing Principles

  • Ability to work in a team environment

Physical and Environmental Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced controlled cleanroom environment up to 12 hours a day with additional overtime as required

  • The Clean room is controlled at greater than 30% humidity with a temperature between 60 and 70

  • The Clean room has some ambient noise.

  • Specific gowning is required including gloves, hair & beard net and face cover, safety glasses with no makeup / jewelry, and the like.

  • Position requires forceful gripping/grasping and repetitive motion including pushing and pulling

  • Ability to use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and understand chemical hygiene including labels and SDS (Safety Data Sheets), common chemicals are disinfect, solvents and IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol 70% and 99%)

  • Ability to stand and move about including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping

  • Ability to use hand tools and equipment including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, pulling and repetitive motion

  • Ability to infrequently lift and manipulate up to 40 pounds unassisted

As a Maintenance Inventory Leader, you will lead the spare parts team in ordering, receiving, storing and distributing materials, equipment, parts and supplies for maintenance teams to support highly motivated production teams. What will you do? * Ensure compliance to all safety and cGMP requirements * Ensure compliance to work instruction documents, standard operating procedures and standard works * Review daily teamwork orders * Participate in PPI (Practical Process Improvement), Lean and Continuous Improvement, and 5S activities * Lead in scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and calibration activities. * Keep familiar with operation and maintenance procedures for all equipment in area of responsibility. * Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and monitor operation of equipment. * Install and monitor new equipment. * Complete all required paperwork, work orders, inventory requests, and requisitions. * Keep shop and lab area clean and organized. * Keep current in maintenance and calibration technology. * Perform on-call and after-hours maintenance activities as required How will you get there? Education * Bachelor's Degree * OR Associate Degree PLUS 2+ years' experience in a related field * OR High School Diploma (minimum) PLUS 2+ years' experience, PLUS Certifications in one of the following: * Automation * Electronics * Robotics * Controls * Industrial Maintenance (or comparable) Experience * 3-5 years of relatable experience in Process Maintenance or Facilities. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities * Self-motivated: ability to work with little or no supervision * Knowledge of safety practices * Knowledge of how to use power and hand tools associated with typical industrial maintenance. * Knowledge in maintenance trades: electrical, electronic, pneumatic, plumbing, and mechanical. * Knowledge in common calibrated disciplines: temperature, humidity, pressure, flow, time, mass, electronic, and dimension measurement calibrations. * Ability to work flexible hours if needed * Strong interpersonal communication skills * Must have strong leadership skills * Ability to effectively solve complex technical problems * Ability to remain calm and effectively resolve potentially harmful/stressful situations Physical and Environmental Requirements: * Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and push/pull up to 150+ lbs. on regular basis * Frequent stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, pushing, climbing, pulling, grasping, and crawling * Work conditions can include: Maintenance shop, lab environment, safety hazards including welding, grinding, electrical work, high-pressure equipment, chemicals, dirty/toxic work areas, and noise.
