Team Leader - 2Nd Shift

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to oversee and support our 2nd shift operations. The ideal candidate will be a charismatic leader who is not only committed to achieving operational excellence but also to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and team development. This role involves coordinating shift activities, ensuring quality and safety standards, and leading by example in a clean, climate-controlled environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily shift activities, ensuring all production goals are met while adhering to quality and safety standards.
• Coach and mentor team technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate the development of team technicians.
• Drive process improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives to eliminate waste and enhance productivity.
• Coordinate and schedule team technicians' activities, ensuring efficient operations.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication with support groups to maintain smooth and efficient processes.
• Report online measurables, ensuring targets are met and identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate teams.
• Ability to perform frequent physical activities, including sitting, standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Familiarity with data entry and group dynamic skills.
• A commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and productive work environment.
