About the role of the Direct Support Professional Team Lead:

As the Team Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP):

  • You will support the program's House Manager by taking a lead role in ensuring that high quality services are delivered to consumers in Woodfords' care.

  • You will serve as a support to the House Manager by role modeling positive and professional interactions with consumers and other staff while on shift, and serve as a resource and support to other Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).

  • You will work directly with adults with developmental disabilities on daily living skills including: meal prep, housekeeping, decision making, transportation and personal support.

  • You will support adult consumers to be active in the community and accompany on outings and activities.

  • You will be a key member of the Residential program team, and be delegated specific responsibilities as necessary by the House Manager.

Pay Rate for Direct Support Professional (DSP) Team Lead : $14.25 per hour

Schedule Required:

  • Sunday 9am-10pm, Monday 1pm-10pm, Tuesday 1pm-9pm, Wednesday 1pm-9pm

Key Qualifications of the Direct Support Professional (DSP) Team Lead:

  • DSP and CRMA certification required

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Valid driver's license required

  • Use of reliable vehicle with current insurance required

  • Good physical strength; able to bend, lift and stand required

Assists with medical supervision. Facilitates working relationships between community employers and MENTOR ABI Group participants. Cooperate with MENTOR ABI and any state Department of Human Service staff in any inspection or investigation. Life Skills Trainersprovide assistance to program participants to offer support with dailyactivities like bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding.
