Assists the Hotel Manager in managing the property operations on a day-to-day basis, to assure optimum performance and continual improvement in the Key Performance Indicators (GREAT, REACH, DANCE, DRIVE, FRESH, Safe WATCH, Making it Right and Stop the Leaks). Resolves guest and employee issues, and performs other duties as required to develop efficiency and profitability in all aspects of property management. Assumes the Hotel Manager's responsibilities when required. Assures 100% guest satisfaction.


  • Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests and employees.

  • Ensure associates at the property are driving the Company initiatives (GREAT, REACH, DANCE, DRIVE, FRESH, Making it Right, Safe WATCH and Stop the Leaks)

  • Assists the Hotel Manager in maximizing revenues and flow through to GOP to meet or exceed budgeted EBITDA.

  • Assists Hotel Manager in monitoring in-house guest balances and direct bill receivables, commission payments by vendors, and issuance of refund checks.

  • Assists with monitoring monthly inventory of supplies and equipment. Ensures that day to day purchases made are within budget and with approved vendors.

  • Promotes 100% guest satisfaction throughout the property. Instills 100% guest satisfaction objective to hourly associates.

  • Serves as first level of contact for Guest Service issues. Resolves guest issues or determines necessity to escalate to GM, District Manager or Corporate Guest Service Manager.

  • Conducts telemarketing and/or sales calls to assist Hotel Manager with sales activities.

  • This includes serving as a team lead to all other hourly staff members in the performance of daily work activities.

  • Trains employees on Company standards and job performance expectations when the Hotel Manager is not available.

  • Upholds and Enforces ESH standards and policy compliance at the hotel level.


  • Assists with all sales related activities to increase occupancy.

  • Supports the Hotel Manager by seeking out potential business in local market.

  • Makes sales calls and participates in telemarketing activities.

  • Provides other relief or back-up duties as needed at the hotel including front desk coverage as per Company standards, housekeeping, and other duties when needed to ensure optimum operation of the hotel.

  • Inspects guest rooms.

  • Performs duties in all departments when needed.

  • Actively reviews and monitors Social Media websites.

VIEW JOBS 3/20/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-06-18T00:00 Overview As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will guide the development, production and flight of one of our turbomachinery integrated product teams in support of Blue engine programs. Our engines are being developed to support affordable, low cost access to space. This role will manage the technical solutions, budget, and schedule required for development, production, certification, and commercial operations. Customer and Government contractor interaction will be required. Our product-based teams will support the early development and definition, lead the design of critical hardware and software, develop operational plans and procedures, support tooling and fabrication design, conduct risk management, and work with assembly and operations personnel to test and deliver our engines within schedule and budget. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight. Responsibilities * Own the overall lifecycle of product from development to qualification and production * On-time delivery of operational engine systems to our internal and external customers * Report to program manager and be accountable for planning, execution and delivery of product * Provide program constraints and guidance to technical leads * Program planning & execution including scope, scheduling and resource allocation. Develop and support the maintenance of resource loaded schedule * Technical and programmatic risk as well as opportunity management * Identify risk, document, communicate, develop mitigation plans and drive to an acceptable level * Budget management and tracking * Communication of status, critical path, challenges and recommended solutions * Technical oversight and authority of a range of hardware and software solutions * Support requirement decomposition and allocation, systems engineering, technical design, analysis and verification/validation * Management of internal/external engine interfaces * Oversee DRs, Drawing release, eWOs, and test planning for the IPT * Facilitate support from ISC, TFO, ECOE, S&MA and other support organization * Adhere to Blue processes or tailored approach Qualifications * Minimum of a B.S. degree in Engineering * Desire to lead and manage small teams on fast-paced hardware and flight projects * Experience with budget management and reporting * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Demonstrated technical expertise in space qualified liquid rocket engines, fluid/mechanical systems, avionics, manufacturing, systems engineering, integration and/or test. * Desire to support customer, government contractor and internal Blue executive interaction * Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Desired * Prefer turbopump or rotating machinery experence * 5+ years experience in rocket engine development. * 2+ years of project management experience * Experience with logic linked scheduling and Cost Account Management such as EVM * Experience with IMP/IMS, risk management, configuration management, requirements management processes * Experience across multiple portions of the product life cycle * Experience with human spaceflight or high performance aircraft systems * Experience with Primavera (P6), DOORS, CREO, Windchill Blue Origin Kent WA
