And it is how we'll continue to build a safer, smarter and more connected mobility experience for all people.Role SummaryThe Team Lead - Test Management & Strategy is responsible for leading a team of system test managers and test strategists to ensure that Magna Electronics products are tested thoroughly to meet quality standardsKey Responsibilities* Lead a team of engineers who are responsible for defining the global standard for test management and reporting according to ASPICE and relevant testing standards * Lead a team of engineers who are responsible for defining the global standard of test strategies according to ADAS/AD product and customer roadmap * Leads a team who provides the best and cost-effective solution to fulfill legal and industry standards * Defines a global standard of test reporting and management system according to industry standards * Will be responsible for leading quote activities for system test for new Magna business * Will be Responsibilities include, interviewing, hiring, training, reward and disciplinary actions, and performance appraisals of employees. * Will be responsible for ensuring that the team members adhere to GPEP/ME-PDP deliverablesKey Responsibilities, cont. * Resource planning and alignment to ensure that all projects in the department are properly staffed with the right quality and quantity of resource to meet the deliverables in an effective and efficient way is a key objective of this position * Work with managers and senior managers to identify and resolve issues quickly within the team project organization. * Manage technical escalation paths appropriately. Escalate where necessary for communication of issues, requests for assistance, and unexpected situationsKey Qualifications/RequirementsBachelor's / Master's degree in engineering or demonstrated equivalent skills. Master's degree preferred.6-10 years experience regarding Responsibility / Main Activities (listed above) in serial development or comparable experience in automotive (mandatory), ADAS (mandatory); electronic (preferable) industry08--Engineering F--Permanent/Regular
