Team Lead

Advantage Resourcing is seeking a skilled Team Lead for a local manufacturing company in Gainesville, GA. If you're experienced in high-volume manufacturing, possess strong leadership qualities, and prioritize quality and safety, we want to hear from you. Shift: 2nd Shift

Pay: $20/hr

The Team Lead is responsible for executing the production plan within the shift and managing logistic tasks. This includes supporting, guiding, instructing, and organizing the team, and communicating with the Manufacturing Manager. The role involves participating in and leading shift production meetings, performing and documenting machine adjustments, and labeling finished and checked pallets. The Team Leader ensures all required documentation is complete and accurate, performs preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of machines and tools, and handles materials, including pallet transportation and material planning. Additionally, the position entails production reporting, participating in internal audits, and adhering to International Automotive Task Force quality standards (IATF 16949). The Team Leader trains employees, assists with more difficult tasks, escalates issues to supervisors and managers, follows Internal Quality Issues procedures (IQI), and ensures First In, First Out (FIFO) practices are followed. Ensuring compliance with safety rules and policies, maintaining cleanliness and organization according to 5S standards, and performing other assigned duties are also essential aspects of the role.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years in a high-volume manufacturing environment; 5+ years preferred.

• Strong reading comprehension of work instructions.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Demonstrated team leadership skills.

• Advanced organizational skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Detail-oriented with good technical skills.

• Advanced troubleshooting abilities.

• Basic understanding of the metric system.

• Knowledge of measurement devices and basic math skills.

• Basic computer proficiency.

• Good manual dexterity.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
