Role Responsibilities

The Team Lead will manage a multi-lingual group and is responsible for delivering high calibre customer service and metrics to the client's business customers.

The Team Lead will represent the team in communications with the client and provide all levels of support when necessary. They are the main point of contact for the client and act as the point for escalation.

They are responsible for all aspects of the process and will liaise closely with global counterparts. There will be a strong element of analytical metrics review & input, new process incubation, induction and process improvement.

We are looking for candidates who are senior leaders and a member of the technical team with experience in developing embedded real-time C++ applications. The candidate should be an experienced and effective communicator, task leader and technical decision maker. Follow and/or recommend changes to processes and procedures. Work as a self-starter. Provide and meet budget and schedule requirements. Prepare and present or support presentations to management and customers. Produce documentation related to the design and release of software artifacts. Responsibilities include managing the implementation of the software life cycle which encompasses requirement definition, software design, software architecture, software development, software integration and verification. Managing the schedule and cost objectives at the Control Account level using Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) tools. Working with Agile Product Owners to plan stories and use Software SCRUM/Agile Development Tools for Earned Value management. Support to planning, scheduling and cost estimating tasks. Work is performed with limited oversight. Required Skills: * Minimum 8+ years of experience in a SW development environment * Managing the schedule and cost objectives at the control account level using Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) tools * Work with Agile Product Owners to plan stories and use Software SCRUM/Agile Development Tools for Earned Value Management. * Support to planning, scheduling and cost estimating tasks * Establish performance measurement baselines (PMB), perform cost and schedule measurement, update schedules, quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) / monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) oversight, data analysis and reporting * Ensure planning reflects all task assignments, schedule and budget identified within the control account * Experience to expert level in Microsoft Office Project * Experienced with interpersonal, time management and communication skills; as well as mentoring and facilitation skills in dealing with management and technical staff * Experience in EVMS, IMS, & IMP or equivalent tools for managing programs * Previous practical experience using C++ required * US Citizenship required * Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Clearance within 1 year of start date Desired Skills: * 8+ years of experience in finance, project control, and/or program management * Strong judgment and decision making abilities, able to drive efforts to closure; able to effectively manage/coordinate multiple tasks and priorities * Expert in Earned Value Management System (EVMS); EVMS Certified * Strong understanding of Program Controls and processes * Experience in execution of a disciplined engineering processes, scope management, risk and opportunity management * Experience with Agile-Scrum Methodology * Experience in proposal development, particularly Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) and BOE development, and other contract deliverable artifacts such as Statement of Work (SOW) * Understanding of software development best practices and processes * Experience in high performance, multi-threaded embedded software designs * Understanding of standard software engineering processes and artifacts such as Software Test Plan, Software Test Procedure Experience in IMS Network Analysis and Critical Path Management (CPM) Methodologies * Experience in Cost Accounting Management (CAM) for managing finances and budget on programs * Experience with Microsoft Office suite of tools * Active and Current Secret Security Clearance Required Education: * Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or related STEM degree This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization. 162099 Raytheon Technologies Corp El Segundo CA
