Job Summary

Individual will be responsible for managing day-to-day billing processes and procedures for assigned clients. The position will be responsible for identifying areas of process improvement and managing those changes to ensure optimal outcomes for the positive financial health of both our client and Netsmart Revenue Cycle Management Services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage day-today operations and performance of Billing Claims Specialist.

  • Manage and maintain appropriate staffing based on incoming work logs.

  • Develop and implement backlog reduction plans as necessary.

  • Manage client escalations as they arise.

  • Maintain an ongoing relationship with existing clients to foster new sales opportunities.

  • Assist in marketing solution offerings to new and existing clients

  • Work with team to evaluate and obtain beta testing partners for new solution offerings.

  • Create and manage a training plan for associates.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree, Certification or equivalent work experience required.

  • 2 years of medical billing, cash posting, and charge entry experience

  • 3 years of call center experience preferred

  • Knowledge of billing operations; billing and collections processes; denial management; overall accounts receivable management.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically skilled in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Agricultural Finance sources agricultural real estate investments through five regional field offices in the U.S. and a consulting office in Sao Paulo, Brazil.­   The loan asset manager-team lead is responsible for the workflow which impacts accurate and timely completion of loan origination and servicing functions related to the MetLife Agricultural Finance portfolio.  This position requires significant attention to detail as well as a strong real estate-oriented technical skill set.  A strong background in dealing with complex legal documents supporting both simple and complex real estate transactions is a must.  This position must manage multiple and competing priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment.     Key Responsibilities:   * Loan Closing: * With support of in-house and outside counsel, negotiates, assembles and processes accurate mortgage and loan closing documents consistently, in a timely manner, and in compliance with MetLife’s policies.  * Work collaboratively with deal team, in house and outside legal and senior management ensuring closing documents accurately reflect loan approval. * Collaborate with mortgage team members, brokers, property owners, attorneys and other transaction counterparts to perform due diligence including, but not limited to, legal description review and reconciliation, review of exceptions to title policies, easements, supply agreements, and other agreements that potentially impact loan collateral. * Verifies borrower information, including trust agreements, corporation resolutions, lease agreements, etc is accurate and current. * Responsible for OFAC and Know Your Customer due diligence. * Responsible for all post-closing follow up with respect to any outstanding issues. * Analyzes and verifies accuracy and reasonableness of terms set forth in Loan Applications/Term Sheets.   * Loan Asset Management: * Manage a portfolio of loans for which duties include, but are not limited to, servicing functions such as revolving line of credit disbursements, interest rate reviews, partial releases, collateral substitutions, easements, subordinations, consents, and non-disturbances, re-inspection reports, amendments, and loan payoff requests. * Facilitate documentation and completion/closing of loan servicing actions. * Coordinate due diligence and data collection efforts related to portfolio management. * Establish and enhance relationships with our customers as an ambassador for MetLife fielding borrower inquiries/requests and increasing potential for additional loan opportunities by providing superior customer service. * Recognize business concerns, analyze, and develop solutions which are presented to mortgage originators and senior management. * Fully utilize the MetLife portfolio management systems to ensure that up to date and accurate loan maintenance is in concert with company policies and procedures.   * Team Lead: * Coordinate workflow as it relates to Loan Closings and Loan Asset Management for the team. * Mentoring and coaching of Loan Asset Manager(s) on team. * Coordinate training with Regional Office Management to ensure regional specific requirements are practiced.    Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills: Required: * Bachelor’s degree in related field (agriculture, or business/finance) * At least 5-7 years relevant experience * Experience in real estate finance, including preparing loan documents, closing loans and loan servicing. * Knowledge of complex loan terms * Results orientated team player.
