The Team Lead (or Race Supervisor) works with

Competition Services. This position is responsible for scheduling and supervising staff for EpicMix Racing, USSA Racing, Middle/High School races, special events, and other daily Competition Services operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and supervise staff

  • Supervise set up and tear down of EpicMix Racing daily, other races, and events as needed.

  • Supervise the daily operation of EpicMix Racing.

  • Oversee RPOS and EpicMix Racing products, trouble shoot systems, close and generate daily reports.

  • Oversee the collection of EpicMix Racing and other racing receipts and generate daily reports.

  • Oversee theinstallation of trail fencing, safety features, and signage at EpicMix Racing and other race venues.

  • Participate in event planning with Keystone's Marketing, Group Sales, and Corporate Sales Departments.

  • Participate in the budgeting process for EpicMix Racing.

  • Work as a contact person for Ski and RideSchool as it pertains to EpicMix Racing and other Ski and Ride School race events.

Job Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent - required(College Degree - preferred)

  • Minimum 1 year of experience running an EpicMix Race venue - required

  • Prior experienceworking with USSA, Middle School and/or High Schoolraces - required

  • 1+ years of supervisory or team lead experience - required

  • 3+ years of mountain operations experience - preferred

  • Valid Drivers License - required

  • Advanced snow mobile operator - required

  • Must be an expert at the set-up and the operation ofSplit Second and EpicMix Racing electronic timing systems.

  • Must be an expert skier or rider.

  • USSA member -prefer chief of course and timing certifications.

  • Must be fluent in the English language, both written and verbal.

  • Advancedknowledge of Microsoft Office / MS Outlook.

  • Willbe required to work extended hours outside in alpine mountain environment with variable weather conditions including snow, wind, cold and sun.

  • Will be required to work weekends and holidays.

Reach Your Peak.   Responsibilities:   * Responsible for assisting Manager and Assistant Manager in overseeing the department * Assist with interviewing and training the Timber Ripper personnel * Maintain proper tools and supplies at the Timber Ripper location * Assist Lift Operations Manager with the maintenance of the Timber Ripper * Responsible for the collection, collation, filing and accuracy of daily paperwork * Responsible for the daily preparation and operation of the Timber Ripper mountain coaster, including track preparation and inspection * Responsible for ensuring that staff provide a high level of service * Responsible for ensuring that staff are in proper uniform at all times * Responsible for keeping decks, rails and walkways clear of ice and snow   Skills:   * Ability to work well under pressure * Ability to lead a team and work side by side with that team * Strong communication and good judgment in handling guest service issues * Ability to coordinate and set work schedules * Strong judgment skills in relation to Timber Ripper operations * Ability to delegate tasks * Basic mechanical skills   Physical Demands:   * Ability to communicate by phone and radio * Ability to lift 75 pounds (heavy lifting) * Operate some equipment including a snowmobile and all-terrain vehicles * Extended periods of standing, sitting, bending, overhead reaching * Ability to work outside in all types of weather conditions for long periods of time * Ability to access all areas of the mountain by foot, snowmobile or all-terrain vehicle * Ability to climb ladders and work at heights * Ability to communicate by phone   Certifications/Diplomas/Prerequisites:   * High school diploma or equivalent * Valid Driver’s License   At Okemo, we've got 2,200 vertical feet of positive outlook and it shows.
