Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Executive Director of HH Clinical Services or Designee, perform a variety of duties involving infection prevention including conducting regular surveillance of infection control practices; educate personnel to ensure compliance with infection prevention and control standards; monitor and evaluate infection control practices; identify and investigate potential sources of infection, etc. Additional duties include performing field staff supervisory visits, collaboration on annual staff performance evaluations; develop and implement plan for annual Skills Day training; perform a variety of duties to assist the Clinical Manager, and provide guidance, support, education and clinical leadership to office and field staff.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Public Health or equivalent is required.
A minimum of three years clinical experience in an appropriate setting, i.e. Medical Surgical, Home Care, Cardiac Care, etc. Knowledge of infection control practices and Staff Education preferred.
Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Rhode Island is required (RI licensure may be in process).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Pay Range
USD $84,198.40 - USD $154,024.00 /Yr.
Rotation Schedule Requirement
every other weekend and holiday
