We are looking for a responsible Team Lead to oversee the workflow of our Installation department. The role is a complex one. He/She will not just be someone who supervises the work of others. A team lead is also responsible for coaching, resolving issues and serving as a link between team members and management.
The ideal candidate will be a competent individual who will be able to guide and train team members. He/She will be well-versed in processes under the role's responsibility and will be results-driven and focused.
The goal is to ensure that operations are carried out productively so as to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
Comply with company's plans and vision and communicate them to team members
Organize workflow and ensure that team members understand their duties or delegated tasks
Monitor team member productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
Manage team members time
Pass on information from upper management to team members and vice versa
Prepare and submit performance reports
Train new team members
Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises
Must be 21+ years old with a 5-year clean driving record. (MVR check)
Drug Free Workplace: Must be able to pass pre-hiring and random drug testing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
Must be punctual, flexible, and able to do overtime work as needed
IT Technology: Must function in Google Suite, mobile device apps, email, and GPS software
Must be capable of loading/unloading/lifting/carrying/assembling 60+ lbs. of metal safety equipment.
Ability to work at heights and climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolds and access attics, roofs, and external walls of multi-story projects and walk on sloped roofs.
Operate high impact power tools.
Driving vehicle required. Less than 50% of time spent traveling.
Must pass a pre-employment physical exam. - Physical fitness with a good range of mobility.
