Position Description

  • Support team and team associates responsible for return to vendor reconciliation.

  • Supports team manager and performs management duties when manager is absent or out of office.

  • Assists management with new team member training.

  • Answers team member questions, helps with team member problems, and oversees team member work for quality and guideline compliance.

  • Perform quality control checks on associate work cases.

  • Communicates company goals, safety practices, and deadlines to team.

  • Generates and shares comprehensive and detailed reports about team performance, mission-related objectives, and deadlines.

  • Provides quality customer service, including interacting with suppliers and answering supplier inquiries.

  • Participate in all necessary meetings (team meetings, workload status meetings, supplier calls, etc.).

  • Maintain a "customer first" attitude at all times.

  • Approve adjustments within returns reconciliation system and complete reversals as needed.

  • Conduct supplier web portal training.

  • A successful candidate will focus on employee engagement and development, customer satisfaction, and shareholder value.

  • Serve as SME in domain

  • First line of escalation in resolving identified issues/defects

Key Responsibilities

Training and Team Development

  • Conduct new hire training and determine training schedule and checkpoints.

  • Develop the knowledge and skills of newly hired employees.

  • Ensure that the team and team members can meet its current and future business objectives, and deliver quality products and services that meet supplier needs.

  • Answers team member questions, helps with team member problems, and oversees team member work for quality and guideline compliance.

  • Help individuals reach their potential, help to build employee satisfaction, making it easier to attract and retain a quality workforce.

  • Help define associate supplier alignment

  • Provide visibility and metrics around associate workload status

  • Deliver supplier web portal training

Operational Excellence

  • Incorporate best practices by enhancing systems and procedures to support business needs.

  • Champion new initiatives and acts as a catalyst for change.

  • Ensure business processes are in place which point to opportunities to improve business results and/or customer satisfaction

  • Initiate and implement process re-engineering and develop appropriate measurements for defect analysis

  • Makes decisions on administrative or operational matters that ensure effective achievement of objectives

  • Interactions including controversial situations, supplier negotiations, and influencing/persuading senior level managers

  • Resolve supplier issues and assist team in the achievement of production and scorecard goals

  • Ensure a high level of quality and responsiveness to supplier's questions and issues.

  • Approve adjustments within returns reconciliation system

  • Complete reversals as needed.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Maintain an understanding of internal customer and external supplier needs and issues

  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure financial success

  • Ensure business processes are in place which point to opportunities to improve business results by driving down issue resolution cycle time and quality issues

  • Support process improvements that will allow us to achieve our aggressive business goals while at the same time meeting our employee and customer satisfaction goals

  • Partner with business owners to improve customer experience and margins

Administrative

  • Provides status reports to ensure management visibility to manufacturer performance, opportunities and disputes.

  • Prepares agendas and meeting minutes.

  • Responsible for building collaborative environment with internal partners.

Minimum Requirements
2 years accounting experience

Critical Skills

  • 4-year degree in related field (such as business, finance, accounting, supply chain, computer science, etc.) or equivalent experience

  • 2 years of experience in a professional business environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Return to Vendor process knowledge preferred

  • Intermediate Excel experience. Ability to perform vlookups and Pivot Tables preferred but not required

  • SAP and Sharepoint experience a plus

  • Knowledge of reporting packages (Business Objects, etc.) and other databases a plus

  • Analytical ability to take an opportunity, notice trends, research, and suggest solutions to suppliers and/or internal stakeholders

  • Detailed understanding and experience with process documentation and improvement

  • Ability to negotiate effectively, aiming for win-win solutions that enhance McKesson's position

Education
2-year degree in accounting or related field or equivalent experience

We are seeking a talented individual for a Systems Programmer III who is responsible for the planning and organizing of workload assignments of department staff. Responsible for the implementation of complex projects and software solutions as well as problem determination to DP technology problems and issues. Essential Responsibilities: * Function as a Team Lead building project plans and fully utilizing assigned staff within defined duties and boundaries. * Define problems and make recommendations on technology deployments; implement hardware and/or software solutions with proper documentation on processes and education of all involved parties whether internal or external to IT. * Act independently in meeting project requirements and possess a high level of technical knowledge. * Provide input for department goals and operating budget. * Provide support to IT infrastructure including the datacenter processing and business applications environments. * Generate work-plans for system resources, installation, implementation, manpower, finance and maintenance of IT processing infrastructure. * Accountable for subsystems including mainframes, software and operating systems. * Evaluate technologies installed within IT infrastructure also confirming resources and best practices are utilized to meet business goals. * Train internal department members and IT users on facilities, services, hardware/software available and how technology can be better utilized to perform their jobs and increase efficiency. * Analyze project requirements in terms of economic justification, possible impact on other projects, and practical business consideration. * Track, accumulate and report time spent on all projects accurately. * Manage assigned projects, including all activities, for timely completion. * Provide technical consultation in the areas of systems software products, hardware, and technical facilities. * Develop standards, policies and procedures for IT infrastructure and to maintain the IT infrastructure as well as making timely appropriate recommendations. * Act as backup supervisor as needed. Has extensive knowledge of access methods (QSAM, BSAM, and BDAM, VSAM, BPAM Relational or Hierarchical) and all storage media characteristics. * Able to use the following utility functions: Sort/Merge, Linkage Editor, IEHMOVE, IEHLIST, IEHPROGM, IDCAMS, etc., and data management utilities, IEBCOPY, IEBGENER, FILEADID, etc. * Knowledge of the various abend types (program, data, systems) and common abend codes (0Cx, x37, x13, x14, x06, x0A, x22, etc). * Has ability to use (TSO, CMS, ISPF, SDSF) to accomplish assignments. * Has knowledge of any major subsystem (JES2, JES3, IMS, CICS, DB2) Performance, Storage Mgt (DFSMSrmm, DFSMShsm, etc.). * Has knowledge of any major vendor software offering (IBM, CA, Compuware, etc.). * The ability to operate a mainframe System 370 based processor or Unix/Linux based processor or Windows server with assistance from senior operations or technical personnel. This should include the monitoring of system resource utilization and resource manipulation.
