TEAM LEAD LOAN SERVICING INSURANCE WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? The position plans, organizes, and controls the day-to-day administrative and operational insurance activities.

Ensures that flood insurance tracking is in conformity with regulatory/government requirements and Internal Credit Policy. Coordinate efforts with other business units to identify and resolve processing issues. This position calls for high level interaction with Bank management, insurance tracking vendors and government regulatory agencies.Position will also collaborate with the Compliance Department and Legal in the overall administration of the related directives for the Bank.

Participate in audits and examinations on behalf of the CLC-Insurance Department and ensures compliance with assigned Bank policies and procedures, as well as, with the applicable state and federal banking regulations. What you will do Supervise and provide leadership to the team by demonstrating effective problem solving, decision making, coaching and communication skills on a daily basis. Responsible for reviewing, interpreting and approving insurance policies (pre and post) loan boarding and for the life of the loan.

Manages the inquiries, approvals and requests as they apply to existing policies and procedures, keeping within assigned approval limits and using these instances as learning tools for employee development Maintains a proficient knowledge of applicable banking and CFPB rules and regulations Interface with Internal Audit, Compliance and external regulatory agencies such as the OCC and FEMA on occasion Provides guidance and direction to lenders, documenters and relationship managers and insurance agents. Responsible for data integrity of insurance tracking across systems, insurance tracking systems both in-house and vendor-supplied Identifies and mitigates potential risk issues; interacts with Bank personnel including audit and compliance pertaining to remediation issues Consult with Legal and Credit Administration Department to validate Credit Policy and to identify and document process and procedure improvement. Processes, solves and answers complex customer issues, problems or inquiries.

Processes flood map changes to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations as a backup to the Flood Insurance Analyst Assumes responsibility for special monitoring/quality assurance projects: gathers data and prepares reports for Senior Management, audits and other personnel. Maintain a proactive, committed approach to such programs as Customer first, Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and Equal Employment Opportunity. Must-Have* H.S.

Diploma Minimum 5 years experience working in insurance and/or banking environment Minimum 5 years experience in analyzing insurance policies, loan documents and credit approval documents. Skills and Knowledge Familiarity with the CFPB, FDPA, NFIP and FEMA Demonstrated supervisory experience with strong leadership skills. Proven analytical and problem solving ability.

Excellent communication and client service skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet time deadlines, with established time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Ability to motivate self and other team members. Ability to drive, support and implement continuous change. Ability to quickly adapt to and become proficient in disparate systems Familiarity with query tools, a plus Compensation Starting base salary: $87,027 - $138,965 per year.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
