The Team Lead, IT is responsible for leading the security practice within IT Enterprise and Mitel Cloud offerings and providing a recommended strategic security framework and security solutions that is tailored to meet the needs of Mitel.

This position is based in Austin, TX.


  • Interact with business managers to communicate security recommendations and solutions for Mitel Cloud Operations

  • Advise and solve Security issues involving the network and systems operations for Mitel Cloud and Enterprise.

  • Lead the Core IT Security team to develop and maintain the security program.

  • Provide coaching and mentoring for areas of expertise.

  • Assist teams with the development, maintenance and documentation of security procedures

  • Support and lead compliance initiatives that fall under the Core Security team.

  • Maintain compliance with various regulations and best practices

  • Analyze issues, facts and available information to develop logical solutions; researching inconsistencies found in data; drawing correct inferences from information and making recommendations that support business decisions

  • Ensure effective implementation of Vulnerability management program and security monitoring program and working with network and system engineers to participate in vulnerability identification and patching.

  • Participate in the Business Continuity plan maintenance

  • Good understanding of IDS/IPS and various methods to detect and prevent network attacks.


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields or equivalent experience

  • 6+ years of relevant information security experience including dealing with IT security issues

  • 2+ years leadership experience

  • Telecom experience highly desired

  • Experience in incident response

  • Access control systems experience (Linux and Windows)

  • Knowledge of datacenter operations and networking

  • Understanding of 3rd party cloud datacenter provider responsibilities and common agreements

  • Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools

  • Collaborative interpersonal style that cultivates cooperative and supportive partnerships

  • Strong communication skills, excellent listening skills, and high degree of professional acumen

  • Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities with a commitment to continuous improvement

  • Thorough understanding of enterprise security architecture and design, network design concepts and fundamentals

  • Ability to analyze situations and incidents and determine the larger picture relevance

  • CISSP, CEH, GIAC, ISC2 or ISACA certifications recommended

The Role We are currently seeking a Recruiting Team Lead to support one of our RPO clients based in Austin, Texas. As a Recruiting Team Lead, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational aspects of the project deliverables. A key objective of this role is to ensure high quality service and customer satisfaction that is consistently maintained and achieved. As a member of the team, the Recruiting Team Lead will build and extend relationships through excellence in recruitment process delivery by leading a team of recruiters to source, screen and identify qualified candidates. This role focuses on high-touch relationship management of external customers and candidates as well as internal business partners. Key Accountabilities * Manage the recruitment delivery process from end to end, ensuring quality recruitment activities and deliverables that are in-line with KPIs and Service Level Agreements ("SLAs") established for the project * Develop and implement improvements to sourcing strategies and multiple channels to build relevant talent pools * Manage, mentor and provide coaching to your team while driving them to effectively execute candidate care throughout the recruitment process * Anticipate and minimize risks on project at both micro and macro levels * Build trust and confidence with key client stakeholders through the relationship building process * Proactively identify opportunities for improvements and make constructive suggestions for change, including opportunities to increase customer satisfaction Skills & Experience Required Skills: * 5+ years of experience managing a recruitment team in a high volume, matrixed-managed environment * 5+ years of full life cycle recruitment experience * 5+ years of client facing experience interacting with Hiring Managers throughout the recruitment process * 5+ years of various applicant tracking system experience * 5+ years of proficiency in all MS Office tools with a specific focus on Excel * 5+ years of experience knowing SLA's and SOW's and how they relate to our business * 5+ years of experience developing and executing sourcing methodologies to include: market mapping, recruitment strategies and Boolean searches * 3+ years recruitment experience within the Life Science/Pharmaceutical industry * Bachelor's degree Preferred Skills: * 7+ years of experience managing a recruitment team in a high volume, matrixed-managed environment * 7+ years of full life cycle recruitment experience Other Korn Ferry is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer – Minorities/Females/Individuals with Disabilities/Protected Veterans.
