Location: This role is office based at our beautiful corporate office in Irvine, CA.

Job Responsibilities:

  • The Goal of the US team lead is to oversee the reconciliation of vendor accounts that are associated with set number of Queues (Average of 7 queues per team lead).

  • Team leads are responsible for the reviewing and coaching of the associates at the off-shore location ( in India) as well as escalating business issues internally, should they need additional help and guidance.

  • Process all forms of payment for vendors including data entry, coding/allocating invoices to ledger accounts, and payment.

  • Resolve all issues relating to Accounts Payable i.e. work with internal/external vendors on research items; including freight companies for shipment research.

  • Run daily AP aging report, monitor bank suspect check list and take appropriate action.

  • Account statement reconciliations and electronic document filing and storage.

  • High volume invoice auditing & processing

  • Assist with internal and external audits.

  • Provide assistance to team members and management as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma required

  • Minimum of five years to six years of AP and some AR experience.

  • Expert knowledge of MS Excel. Must be comfortable with pivot tables, formulas, vlook ups etc

  • Ability to work in multiple databases and systems

  • Knowledge of Trade Payables

  • Proven skills/abilities to work in a high volume, multi-tasking environment

  • Strong skills and experience with Microsoft Office and vendor reconciliations (which includes research and resolution of vendor issues)

  • Must posses ability of clear and effective written and verbal communication skills with vendors and internal associates.

Performs basic administrative accounting and data entry duties to assist the Accounting & Auditing department. Essential Functions: * Prepares batches to ensure accuracy for all entries; updates data in purchasing system daily. * Enters data from financial statements, invoices, and other accounts payable (AP) documents into spreadsheets. * Sorts incoming purchasing invoices and distributes them to appropriate departments. * Matches AP documents such as invoices, packing slips, and purchase orders. * Works and assists Accounting department in performing coding, opening invoices, pending credits, and other related duties. * Communicates, interfaces, and troubleshoots with accounting department and outside vendors as needed. * Attends and participates in scheduled department meetings. * Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management. Education and Experience: * High School diploma or equivalent. * Minimum one (1) year experience in accounts payable.
