Location: This role is office based at our beautiful corporate office in Irvine, CA.
The Goal of the US team lead is to oversee the reconciliation of vendor accounts that are associated with set number of Queues (Average of 7 queues per team lead).
Team leads are responsible for the reviewing and coaching of the associates at the off-shore location ( in India) as well as escalating business issues internally, should they need additional help and guidance.
Process all forms of payment for vendors including data entry, coding/allocating invoices to ledger accounts, and payment.
Resolve all issues relating to Accounts Payable i.e. work with internal/external vendors on research items; including freight companies for shipment research.
Run daily AP aging report, monitor bank suspect check list and take appropriate action.
Account statement reconciliations and electronic document filing and storage.
High volume invoice auditing & processing
Assist with internal and external audits.
Provide assistance to team members and management as needed.
High School diploma required
Minimum of five years to six years of AP and some AR experience.
Expert knowledge of MS Excel. Must be comfortable with pivot tables, formulas, vlook ups etc
Ability to work in multiple databases and systems
Knowledge of Trade Payables
Proven skills/abilities to work in a high volume, multi-tasking environment
Strong skills and experience with Microsoft Office and vendor reconciliations (which includes research and resolution of vendor issues)
Must posses ability of clear and effective written and verbal communication skills with vendors and internal associates.
