This position will make decisions regarding customers, business and employee needs to ensure customer satisfaction. The individual must have strong decision making abilities and a positive attitude with the ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment. This person will provide leadership and information for 1st shift and work as a communication bridge to other shifts and departments. Flexibility in work hours may be needed.
Assist PC with;
Team decisions that will result in the best quality, cost, and delivery.
Facilitation/driving of E.I. (Employee Involvement) and problem solving.
Driving team and business unit goals.
Scheduling of production.
Coordinating manpower, and vacation coverage to meet production needs.
Conflict resolution under PC guidance.
Monitoring attendance, breaks, and identification of problem patterns.
Provide constructive feedback to management regarding business environment.
Provide PC with reliable, fair, and unbiased feedback on team performance.
Involvement in both new and agency employee training and cross training.
Promote and model safety and quality
Driving problem solving and efficiency gains through EI
Other tasks functions as deemed necessary by PC and/or Operations Manager.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Associates degree or in pursuit of higher educational degree preferred
Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing required
Previous team lead or management experience preferred
Strong leadership skills.
Ability to motivate and coach a group of team members to achieve company, business unit, and team goals.
Successful record of building positive relationships with co-workers and management.
Strong verbal, written, and communication skills

Previous training experience.
Demonstrated decision-making and problem solving skills.
Intermediate computer skills Microsoft Office experience preferred.
MRD experience and material ordering preferred.
Ability to read and understand assembly drawings and bill of material.
Must have a solid understanding of the cost and quality drivers of the business.
Minimum of 1 year knowledge of the Component Products department
Overtime may be required, including weekends.
Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours per day and lift up to 50lbs.
