Basic Purpose of the Position:

As part of the person centered model, this role is responsible for the scheduling of patient visits to provide outstanding service delivery while improving the patient experience. This role will collaborate with all team members to achieve exceptional clinical, quality and financial outcomes.

In general, most of the time will be spent in the following activities:

  • Performs duties and responsibilities with compliance to regulatory agencies as evidenced by ability to apply Agency policies resulting in deficiency free surveys.

  • Schedules nursing, therapy & social work visits

  • Facilitates the timely initiation of care through problem solving accurate scheduled and tasking of requested services along with a critical thinking approach to work

  • Triages incoming calls using critical thinking/prioritization and Superior customer service skills

  • Coordinates and consults with Supervisors and team members regarding patient information, data management and regulatory compliance statuses

  • Utilizes and manages electronic and paper data and coordinates specific administrative/organizational functions to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely flow of information and financial data for interdisciplinary care teams.

  • Provides administrative and clerical support to care management team electronically and manually

  • Demonstrates proficiency in computer navigation and medical/financial databases communications

  • Electronically assigns and de-assigns Clinical Staff to patients by accurately utilizing system permissions

  • Coordinates initial admission services and acts as liaison for clinical team

  • Demonstrates effective communication, organizational and time management skills

  • Complies with agency established processes to maintain standards and ensure standardization

  • Organizes daily work and information to maintain efficiency and confidentiality

  • Responsible for ensuring required information is provided and flowed timely to complete the functions of billing, payroll, admissions and care delivery

In addition, the position involves other duties such as:

Will actively participate in the performance improvement process known as H3W.

Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree with medical secretarial background preferred

Experience: Three years of related office experience in health related field preferred

Counsel, Real Estate Member of the Corporate Transactions and Real Estate Services team, serving as the primary legal advisor and subject matter expert related to real estate law. The Counsel will take ownership of issues and coordinate with other parts of Legal and the business teams to reach successful solutions. As a member of the Corporate Transactions and Real Estate Services team, the Counsel will provide legal advice and counsel on all legal issues related to real estate. To be successful, this individual must proactively and creatively address the business needs of the organization while protecting the organization from risk. Responsibilities: * Prepare documentation for new and existing owned and leased offices and facilities. * Negotiate and draft leases, subleases, purchase and sale agreements and construction agreements. * Prepare and negotiate lease amendments and letter agreements, as requested by Management. * Negotiate Estoppel Certificates and Subordination, Non-disturbance and Attornment Agreements as necessary. * Review and negotiate easements, utility agreements and property use agreements with third parties for owned facilities. * Oversee property tax matters with local government entities for owned facilities. * Manage Landlord – Tenant disputes as requested by Management: * Respond to and prepare demand letters. * Represent the Company, negotiate resolutions to disputes, and prepare settlement agreements as requested by Management. * Render legal advice on real estate related issues: * Analyze and render opinions on existing lease arrangements and leasing strategy, including the potential impact of proposed changes thereto. * Analyze and render opinions on real estate related issued raises by the Property Management Division, as directed by Management. * Coordinate legal services provided by outside counsel. * Obtain advice, documents, or other services from outside law firms as needed. * Coordinate and act as a liaison on behalf of Management with other departments within Cigna Legal. * Identify opportunities for internal process improvements and implement them. * Support other special projects or assignments as required. Qualifications: * Cigna is seeking an experienced attorney with the requisite legal background in real estate. The following background is strongly preferred: * Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school and minimum of 5 years' experience in corporate real estate in the private sector.
