This position is responsible and accountable for the daily operations of cardiac rehab department. Responsible for the fiscal and human resource management , including overseeing quality and safety outcomes, customer services activities, and compliance with all accreditation standards.
Staff assignments for outpatient scope of work and insures adequate coverage. Serve as chief retention officer for areas of responsibility. Ensures staff is full competent to provide inpatient and outpatient services to a complex population of patients.
Clinical Exercise Physiologist or Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist required. Previous supervisory/charge experience preferred.
Specialty certification preferred. Demonstrates effective understanding of the following patient populations; ventricular assisted devices, total artificial heart, pulmonary artery hypertension, coronary artery bypass graph, heart failure, post cardiac intervention, pre-teaching and advance heart failure.
