Use pedagogical strategies to effectively develop and deliver curriculum and to test the learning objectives for the course(s).
Advise students with regard to academic concerns and school-related organizations.
Provide service-related teaching duties, such as mentoring and supervision of undergraduate and graduate teaching assistants.
Participate in the decisions related to the policies, courses, and programs in which there is involvement.
Continue personal growth within the profession, keep current with the field and broaden knowledge and expertise.
Required Qualifications
Masters degree is required. The appointee is not required to have the same credentials expected of faculty but must have demonstrated competence to teach the course material. Professional and/or teaching experience related to assigned instructional responsibilities may be required.
Demonstrated commitment to instruction that supports diverse learners and builds inclusive classroom environments.
