Responsibilities:

  • Develop new and improved products for Chem-Trend worldwide in order to meet customer demands in a rapid and timely manner.

  • Provide technical support to all company departments including Sales, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Quality Control.

  • Support Technical Sales by attending product trials at customer sites.

  • Assist manufacturing operations in the development and implementation of new or modified production methods to improve quality and increase manufacturing consistency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.

  • Minimum of two years of industrial experience, including product formulation, or an advanced degree in Chemistry or related field.

  • Working knowledge of lubricants, surface chemistry, emulsions, dispersions, coatings, and industrial processes.

  • Wood & Paper industry knowledge a plus.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, electronic literature research and scientific software.
