Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain

Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential (or willing to obtain)

Must be physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors

Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children

Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English

This position is responsible for creating work orders, to schedule and dispatch technicians for equipment installation, service, or emergency repairs for customers. Receives customer telephone calls to obtain information on specific problem, type of equipment, model, and office hours. Answers general questions from customers about equipment and service. Reroutes calls as necessary to the correct departments, and tracks calls appropriately. Schedules service calls, at an expert level, with technicians and maintains frequent communication throughout the day to help plan and organize their time. Reschedules service calls based on newly posted parts receipts, and coordinates installation with equipment coordinators, technicians, and customers. Determines which calls require troubleshooting, based on predetermined call type selection. Maintain communication with all facets of the center including management. Work with Dispatch Manager and Lead Dispatcher in training and mentoring current and new hires in the department. Understand all aspects and functions on the Dispatch team. Assist Dispatch team with any questions and training, as needed. Serve as a backup to the Manager. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES: List the major responsibilities. Provides territory coverage for the assigned Area Expert, handle customer (internal and external requests) as per department policy on a daily basis. 2. Receives high volume customer telephone calls, emails and online requests to obtain information on specific problem, type of equipment, model, and office hours. 4. Answers general questions from customers about equipment and service. Reroutes calls as necessary to the correct departments, and tracks calls appropriately. 5. Schedules service calls with technicians and maintains frequent communication throughout the day to help plan and organize their time. 6. Reschedules service calls based on newly posted parts receipts, and coordinates installation with equipment coordinators, technicians, and customers. 7. Determines which calls require troubleshooting, based on predetermined call type selection and assists team with escalations. 8. Handles all escalation issues that come from the Sr. Dispatcher and works to resolve them in a timely matter. 9. Acts as the back up Supervisor to the Service Hub Manager, the position is responsible for managing timecards, PTO requests and other requests from the Dispatch TSMs in West Allis. 10. The position will serve as a liaison between Dispatch TSMs and the Service Hub Manager. 11. Reviews all open work order statuses to ensure the designated technician has received notification of the call. 12. Notifies Parts Order Reps of parts and equipment ready to be received into the system. 13. Assists Dispatch Manager in the completion of special projects and performs other duties as required. 14. Provide accurate information for new account set up and proper follow up. 15. Provides weekly status report to management via email. 16. Maintain a manual schedule book daily for back up purposes. 17. Reviews all open work order statuses to ensure the designated technician has received notification of the call 18. Participates in new hire training and mentoring of team members.
