Teacher/Classroom Aide;Additional Adult Support (Para Pro II)

10 month position. Full time with benefits.

7 hours per day

$15.64-16.47 per hour

This position includes a $500.00 hiring bonus. payable at the completion of working 3 months.

All P.U.S.D. employees must have an IVP fingerprint card.

• Make sure you set up an account with AZ DPS and select electronic option to expedite the process and save you some money

• The reason you are applying for an IVP card is to be a non-certificated public school employee. Make sure you check that box.

• Following completion of your application with DPS you will be directed to a link with Field Print. You must create an account with them as well and schedule your actual fingerprinting.

• Check the account on DPS after your fingerprints are done for notification that you have been issued a valid IVP Fingerprint Card; at that point we can move forward with the new hire onboarding process.

• You must use Google Chrome web browser. Other web browsers do not work.

Para Pro requirements: In order to be eligible for a position as a Para Pro in a P.U.S.D. elementary school prospective employee must meet ONE of the following:

• High School diploma or GED AND An Associate's degree or higher OR
• Completed two years of study (equaling 60 or more credit hours) from an accredited institution of higher education OR
• Obtained a passing score on one of the Arizona Department of Education approved Para Pro assessments.

All Full time (6 or more hours per day) PUSD employees receive the following benefits in addition to their salary or hourly pay.
