Teacher, SDC Pre-K/Transitional Kindergarten (Temporary)

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED: Applicants are required to submit the following through Ed-Join prior to the position closing date/time: • Edjoin application • Letter of interest • Three current professional letters of reference dated within last 12 months • Resume • Copy of California teaching credential(s) (or equivalent) - Education Specialist Credential (w/EL and Autism Authorization) - See below • Copy of transcripts • Copy of test scores MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree is required (from an accredited college/university). CREDENTIALS/CERTIFICATIONS: Please note that if you do not have the Ed Specialist Early Childhood Special Education credential with one of the codes authorizing TK/K (issued after 7/1/22), then you will be required to have two special education credential authorizations; one that authorizes pre-K (Birth to K) and one that authorizes TK - 12 in a special education setting as specified below. • Education Specialist Teaching Credential with Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) authorization AND Mild to Mod Support Needs with Autism Spectrum Disorder Authorization or Extensive Support Needs authorization (or ability to enroll in a program to obtain either authorization). or • Education Specialist Teaching Credential with new expanded Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) authorization that authorize special education TK and Kindergarten assignments (Authorization Codes Listed on Credential: SEEC, R3ER, R3CH, R3BC), available if earned after July 1, 2022.

Must have an English Learner authorization (CLAD, BCLAD, CTEL, SDAIE). PLEASE ATTACH THE DETAILED CTC DOCUMENT TO SHOW CREDENTIAL AND EL AUTHORIZATION INFORMATION. ALL MATERIALS MUST BE SUBMITTED THROUGH EDJOIN.
