Responsibilities

The incumbent develops lesson plans independently within the framework of approved curriculum standards, course outlines, texts, and guidelines. Long-range lesson plans are subject to general or spot review.

Daily lesson plans and ongoing assessment practices are occasionally reviewed to evaluate adequacy. Classroom instruction and learning environment is subject to periodic audit to evaluate effectiveness.

Qualifications

A baccalaureate degree from an institution accredited by a regional accrediting association is required. Academic preparation of at least 40 semester hours (SH) in general education course work distributed over such fields as English, history, social studies, mathematics, fine arts, languages, science, philosophy, and psychology is required. In addition, a minimum of 18 SH of professional teacher education course work in such areas as learning process, measurement, philosophy, psychology, social foundations, methods of teaching and curriculum applicable to the type and level of the position for which applying is required.

0155 - Elementary Teacher, Physical Education requirements:

A major in physical education or a minimum of 24 SH in physical education. Course work must include a methods course in teaching physical education at the elementary level. A minimum of 9 upper level semester hours in physical education is required.

Your primary responsibility, under general direction, is to ensure compliance with DoD and DA security policies that are applicable to the program. Candidate must have a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry best practices with respect to security. Must be competent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of security analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. Thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential. Duties and Responsibilities: * Responsible for weekly tracking and reporting of ACAS findings and Fortify auditing efforts * Able to participate and provide system status updates during weekly Plan of Action and Milestone (POAM) meetings * Work with system engineers and project leads to ensure system/application compliance is maintained throughout System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and patch management schedule * Effectively communicate with leadership and able to work in small/dynamic team environments or autonomously * Produce weekly and monthly reports IAW contract requirements to PMO and contract leadership * Familiarity with the following security assessment tools * ACAS --Assured Compliance Assessment Solution * Fortify - Application security scanner * eMASS - Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service * Familiarity with system accreditation processes * DIACAP --Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process * RMF --Risk Management Framework (preferred) * Understanding of Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs) * Understanding of Information Assurance Vulnerability Management program (IAVM) * Knowledge of DoDI Information Assurance guidelines and procedures * Understanding of operating systems, operating environments and networking * Self-starter; requires minimal supervision and can provide oversight for assigned projects Qualifications Education and Years of Experience: * Active Security Clearance at the Secret level * 3+ years of experience * Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Engineering or comparable work experience Required Skills/Certifications: * DoD approved 8570 baseline certification: IAT II | (e.g. CompTIA Security+ (CE) or better) * DoD approved 8570 computing environment certification applicable to position (ex. eMASS) * MS-Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) experience Additional Requirement(s): * Travel to Fort Carson, CO may be required.
