We are currently recruiting for a Teacher of Students with Disabilities to work with students with developmental and related disabilities aged 3-21 years at our Lakeview School.

Job Responsibilities of a Teacher of Students with Disabilities include:

  • Develop appropriate educational goals and objectives, teach strategies, and methods of assisting these goals for each student in the class

  • Plan and implement individual, small, and large group instructional activities and promoted appropriate socialization and self-help skills.

  • Supervise and direct the activities of the teaching assistants and aides in the classroom

Job Requirements:

  • BA or BS degree
  • ABA experience preferred
  • NJ DOE certification as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities or Teacher of Handicapped
  • NJ DOE certification as Elementary School Teacher K-5

Position Details:

Location: Edison County: Middlesex

Hours Per Work Week: 35 Weekly Work Schedule: Mon

  • Fri 8:30 am

  • 4 pm
