Requirements / Qualifications

BA/BS Degree plus appropriate coursework to qualify for credential to teach infant/preschool special education students. Hold/qualify for CA teaching credential authorizing service as a teacher of Early Childhood Special Education.

EL Authorization. Valid CA driver's license and minimum amount of liability insurance required by law. H-6 DMV printout required. Vaccination Verification Required.

MCOE is led by the elected Merced County Superintendent of Schools and governed by the Merced County Board of Education.
