Position overview:

The Teacher Membership Manager at Teaching Strategies is the linchpin in cultivating a thriving community within the Hub, our digital professional learning and teacher engagement platform. Responsible for overall leadership and management of all content and development aspects of the platform, this role coordintates a team of contractor Teacher Membership Trainers (TMTs) to ensure the effective delivery of the Teacher Acceleration Program (TAP) and all live, and virtual content in the HUB.

Collaboration is ingrained in this role. The Teacher Membership Manager collaborates closely with the Director, PDTM Product Manager, and Community Manager to drive community content and engagement within the Hub. Together, they craft a content roadmap tailored to the needs of our teaching community. This extends beyond routine tasks; the Manager for Teacher Membership also considers the needs of special projects. Collaborating with other teams, they repurpose or create content in the Hub to meet the unique requirements of these initiatives.

From developing engaging Hub programming content to fostering relationships with teachers on the platform, the Teacher Membership Manager plays a pivotal role in creating a vibrant and enriching experience for all members. Specific roles and responsibilities:

  • Manage Teacher Membership Trainers

  • Team Coordination:

  • Manages and coordinates a team of Teacher Membership Trainers (TMTs) responsible for delivering high-quality TAP and live sessions on the Hub.

  • Ensures trainers have the necessary resources and support for effective session delivery.

  • Performance Evaluation:

  • Utilizes qualitative and quantitative data to conduct regular evaluations to provide constructive feedback for individual trainer improvement.

  • Collaborates with trainers to implement improvements and refine training techniques.

  • Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborates with trainers in strategic planning to align training initiatives with organizational goals.

  • Leverages trainers' expertise to contribute to the continuous improvement of training programs.

  • Collaboration:

  • Collaborates with the Product Manager and Learning Development associate to create scheduling for TAP and live sessions.

  • Works collaboratively with the Sr. Director of Coaching Membership and Teaching Strategies content team to create, revise, and update trainings and live sessions.

  • Collaborates with the Sr. Director of Coaching Membership and the Teaching Strategies content team to ensure trainings and live sessions are current and aligned with the latest early childhood research and best practices for adult learners.

  • Analyzes training data to identify trends and opportunities for enhancing engagement and attendance in TAP cohorts.

  • Hub Community Content and Engagement

  • Content Development:

  • Collaborates with the Director, PDTM Product Manager, and Community Manager to develop a comprehensive content roadmap aligning with current products and solutions.

  • Creates engaging and informative Hub programming content to provide ongoing guidance, ideas, and inspiration for teacher membership.

  • Relationship Building:

  • Builds trust and credibility by nurturing relationships with teachers on the platform.

  • Provides personalized support to teachers via meetups to address specific needs.

  • Supports trainers in providing quality responses and interaction in Hub Forums.

  • Alignment with Educational Programs:

  • Collaborates with the Sr. Director of Coaching Membership to ensure Hub content aligns with and supports educational programs and organizations using Teaching Strategies products and solutions.

  • Occasional domestic travel

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in early childhood education or related field; master's preferred and/or 3 years in a partner-facing, Ed-Tech, or Saas role

  • Minimum of 5 years serving in an educational teaching and learning role

  • Experience establishing and communicating performance and quality metrics aligned with organizational goals

  • Self-directed and strong drive for success

  • Takes responsibility for work and has a strong sense of project/work management

  • Ability to research, listen, and identify client needs based on assessment conversations

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Project management skills

  • Ability to learn new technology applications

  • Ability to travel 10% of time

  • Working knowledge of, or experience in, the early childhood field is a plus.

  • Working knowledge of Teaching Strategies products

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is required.
