Requirements / Qualifications

Napa Valley Unified School District is hiring for 1.4 FTE Education Specialist Teacher (Early Childhood Program) positions for the 2024-2025 school year. Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English). NVUSD is currently offering a signing bonus for this position of $10,000.00 / $2,500.00 paid at the completion of each school year for 4 years.

The person in this position needs to have experience with family-focused approach services, home visitation, early childhood assessment and curriculum, lesson plan development for preschool children; the ability to team teach and consult with colleagues and preschool teachers in community-based preschools. Need to be in good physical condition which allows for sitting on the floor with children, able to do lifting, toileting, and effective feeding techniques.
