The Teacher Education Center seeks an experienced project manager who will be responsible for leading a large scale highly visible and complex privately funded multimillion-dollar program for teacher preparation students through the full project lifecycle.
Project Manager is responsible for the operational and administrative success of the project which includes identifying appropriate resources and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project.
The Project Manager will be responsible for engaging with key stakeholders, leading stakeholder management, producing project artifacts, capturing and managing project risks, action items, issues, and key decisions throughout the project lifecycle, providing status reports, and assisting in development of the strategy and roadmap for full project implementation. Must be familiar with project management best practices, terminologies, and standard guidelines, as well as have familiarity with a combination of project management methodologies.

Degree and Area of Specialization:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required. Bachelor's in business, communications or technology related field is preferred.
Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of experience project management with demonstrated knowledge of project management tools, processes and techniques, the ability to apply project management framework to meet the project requirements and the effective behaviors and interactions to successfully implement multiple, related projects.
1.Previous project management experience designing and implementing large-scale, multimillion dollar projects within a complex environment.
2.Ability to track and analyze data, statistics, and trends with keen attention to detail and precision.
3.Planning and organizational skills with ability to handle several major projects simultaneously.
4.Excellent public speaking, interpersonal, critical decision-making ability, and oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive information effectively.
5.Ability to provide outreach to a variety of audiences, including but not limited to prospective and current students interested in teacher education.
6.Strong problem solving and creative skills, along with the ability to exercise sound judgment in decision-making.
7.Demonstrated ability to work creatively and efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
8.Experience leading cross-functional teams and building effective relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
9.Exemplary work ethic, a strong sense of initiative, flexibility, discretion, sensitivity and excellent judgement.
10. Commitment to a diverse working environment and to cultivating a diverse community.
11. Preferred experience in higher education.

1.Demonstrated success in leading large scale projects.
2.Interest in education a plus.
3.Experience with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
