Overview
Developing and teaching course(s) in the EVMS Reproductive Clinical Sciences Programs
This is a transient position, working less than 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Develop and teach educational courses in the RCS curriculum
Design and implement measures to assess the effectiveness of students' learning in the form of various methods of learning assessments and timely grading of these assessments.
Engage in discussion board activities related to the courses taught
Advise students who need additional educational support to achieve desired learning objectives
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Graduate of a regionally accredited health professions program in Statistics or related major, doctorate degree required. Prefer teaching experience in statistics at a college, university, or an academic health center
Strong background in writing and reviewing research proposals/grants
Experience in mentoring graduate students at the Master's and Ph.D. levels
Experience in various distance education platforms such as BlackBoard, CANVAS as well as offering electronically delivered curriculum preferred
Knowledge of Biomedical Science is preferred
Background in research related to human reproduction is preferred
