Teacher-Child Day Care - Full Time

Job Summary: Plans and implements child care/preschool activities for assigned children.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures instructional activities are developmentally appropriate and reflect the individual interests of

assigned children.

• Completes required lesson plans and maintains accurate and timely documentation of all required

activities and interactions.

• Ensures that assigned equipment and materials are adequately maintained in safe working order and

recommends new equipment as appropriate.

• Maintains positive communications with child's parents/guardians and incorporates their recommendations

into child's daily routine.

• Complexity of Work: Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal

supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.

• Personal Protective Equipment: Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Education:

Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred. 12 College Credits must be in Early Childhood Education.

Work Experience:

3 years of experience preferred.

Pay Rate ranges from $16.00 - $24.35 per hour.
