Teacher Business (2024-2025 School Year)

Secondary Level Education Grades 9-12

JOB GOAL: To provide an approved educational program and establish a class environment that fosters learning and personal growth; to help students develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for continued education; and to maintain good relationships with parents and other staff members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate for Teacher of Business or ability to obtain certification through the Limited Instructional Certification Program

• Holder of a Certificate of Eligibility must complete the 50-hour pre-professional experience as required by the NJ Department of Education

• Demonstrates knowledge of subject specialty and effective teaching methods

• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Effectively communicates and understands job instructions both verbally and written in the English language

• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
