Responsibilities
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for generating and implementing programs to remediate behavioral and social issues for students eligible for special educational programs involving specifically, (mental retardation, developmental delay, or autism), and these programs also include availability for consultation to school personnel and parent(s) of these specific students.
Physical Demands: Must be able to:
Life and carry up to 50 pounds.
Stand, walk, kneel and reach while working with students for approximately 80-90% of the day.
Use the full range of body motion including handling and physically restraining students when necessary.
Perform First Aid and CPR.
Key at a computer, review reports containing data with small print, read and write proficiently in English, and speak clearly. Hearing and vision must be sufficient to perform the essential job functions.
