Overview
This position's main focus is to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.

Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment to promote the positive development of children
Provide developmentally appropriate curriculum to promote the physical and intellectual growth of children
Provide positive guidance to support the social and emotional development of children
Establish positive and productive relationships with families to provide consistency and support
Maintain a commitment to professionalism and to continue to improve as a teacher
General knowledge and operation of basic office equipment (Computers/keyboards/fax machines/copiers/telephones)
Follow and comprehend Instructions
Supportive and friendly to co-workers; children; parents;
Maintain successful attendance and performance standards
Able to meet physical demands of position
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent, at least 18 years of age, and completion of 45 hour course in child development approved by licensing or one 3 credit higher education course in early childhood development to be completed within one year of employment.
Must have or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
