Part- Time, Flexible Hours Public School Position

Westfield, New Jersey

Union County Educational Services Commission is a public agency in Westfield, NJ that was established to provide cost-effective educational programs and services for the twenty-one public school districts located in Union County. The Commission is currently seeking part-time Teacher Assistants at Westlake and Crossroads Schools, public preschool, elementary, middle and high school programs serving students who are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Cognitive Impairments, Emotional Regulation Impairment, and/or Multiple Disabilities.

Description:

• Part-Time, 10-Month Position

• Flexible Schedule; up to 29 hours

Requirements:

• High School Diploma

• High Degrees of Responsibility, Flexibility and Patience

• Effective organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

• Experience working with high school students with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Cognitive Impairments and/or Multiple Disabilities preferred.
