Teacher Aide

Burlington County Institute of Technology is seeking a Teacher Aide. High school diploma required and one of the following:

• Completion of two years of study at an institution of higher learning

• An associate's (or higher) degree

• Meeting a rigorous standard of quality that demonstrates, through a formal assessment, knowledge of and the ability to assist in reading, writing, and mathematics instruction or reading, writing, and mathematics readiness (Para Professional Praxis Exam)

Knowledge of appropriate classroom practices and demonstrated ability to assist with instructional activities. Experience in working with young adults preferred. Good oral and written communication skills.

Salary per Negotiated Contract

Required criminal history background check and proof of US citizenship or legal resident alien status

Must be NJ resident within one year from date of hire
