We're hiring for a Tax Supervisor

• Private Client Services (PCS) for our Melville, NY office. The Private Client Services (PCS) Tax Practice focuses on tax business planning, advisory & compliance services for ultra-wealthy families as well as multi-general wealth planning. The group specializes in the taxation of gifts, trusts, estates, foundations, closely held entities and individual returns.

Responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:

• Review individuals, trusts, gift taxes, and flow through entities

• Supervise and develop associates

• Ensure complete client satisfaction through open communication, managing expectations, meeting deadlines, and proactively sharing tax saving strategies

• Prepare budgets and schedule engagements accordingly

• Train and mentor lighter level associates

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with a preferred field in Accounting

• 5+ years solid tax experience with high net-worth individuals

• Superb communication skills (written and verbal)

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment

• Outstanding leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills

• Excellent organizational and analytical skills

• Able to problem solve and think both creatively and logically

• Strong tax research skill

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA License or on track to obtain

• Master's degree in Taxation or Accounting

• Software Experience

• CCH ProSystem, Microsoft Office 365

• Experience with Axcess Tax a plus

• Experience with BNA a plus

Compensation Range

Salary: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00
