Currently we are searching for a Tax Staff to fulfill an immediate need. This individual will be responsible for: Preparing federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other entities in compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations Conducting tax research on various topics, including tax regulations and new developments, and apply findings to client engagements Assisting clients with routine tax questions and provide basic tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities Maintaining organized and detailed documentation of all work performed, ensuring compliance with firm policies and applicable tax laws Working closely with senior tax staff and management on various client engagements, contributing to the successful completion of projects Ad hoc duties as assigned We are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of: 1-2 years of experience in public accounting with a focus in tax Intermediate Excel skills to include pivot tables and vlookups CPA license or eligibility Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field If your background, skills, and interest match the following; please apply online to ensure your credentials are reviewed by a skilled recruiter immediately and also email your resume to Mary Katherine Womack at mwomackrezultgroup.com.
