A prominent law firm in Charlotte, NC has an opening for a Tax Senior to add to their high net worth wealth tax division. The successful candidate will prepare complex individual, partnership, S corporation and trust tax returns. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated and organized individual who enjoys interacting with a wide variety of clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual, partnership, S-Corporation and fiduciary income tax returns

• Identify and execute tax planning opportunities to maximize client's net financial worth

• Support clients in dealing with the Internal Revenue Service and other taxing authorities

Requirements

• Solid understanding and experience with federal and state tax compliance

• Able to perform complex tax research and analysis

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft products

• Experience with ProSystem fx Suite

• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong written and verbal communicator

• Ability to work independently and complete tasks in an efficient and timely manner

• CPA or CPA candidate
