Our Ideal Candidate Has:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Masters degree preferred
Recent Public Accounting Experience
7+ years of tax experience including preparation and review
Strong communication skills; ability to interact with a broad range of individuals
Strong professional presence and leadership skills; ability to mentor and develop staff
Highly dedicated with a positive attitude, self-motivated, a team player who takes initiative
As a Tax Senior Manager, You Will:
Delegate and manage tax research projects to achieve an accurate and efficient product.
Serve in a consultative role with an emphasis on exceptional client service and identification of value added services.
Review and/or prepare various types of complex tax returns. Perform technical tax review and approval of all tax returns and governmental tax examinations of any complexity.
Supervise staff and provide on-the-job training; review returns and reports prepared by staff.
Identify and research technical issues to assure compliance with federal, state and local tax laws and regulations.
Communicate to the appropriate Firm personnel important tax and tax developments affecting the Firm's clients.
Delegate and manage governmental tax examinations; may represent the client before the appropriate taxing authorities.
