We are seeking candidates with Private Equity experience who are interested in providing co-sourcing/outsourcing services for global Private Equity Funds. Team members are responsible for assisting with all aspects of an In-House tax function including assisting with transactional matters, managing multiple internal and external professional resources, as well as federal, state and foreign compliance and various special projects. Essential Functions and Primary Duties:

  • Managing staff on assigned deliverables to achieve the completion of all aspects of the engagement, completing reviews as a member of the final review team to ensure quality control standards are met.

  • Understanding the client's qualified plan needs and recognizing opportunities for the client and CBIZ.

  • Sharing knowledge of industry trends, identifying client issues and conflicts, proactively communicating solution option to management and the team, performing analysis and planning of tax engagements.

  • Assisting with client communication during engagements.

  • Preparing final financial statements, disclosures, and reportable condition letters for clients.

  • Supervising, training and mentoring less experienced staff.

  • Participating in new client development in partnership with senior management, contributing to client meetings as well as presentation and proposal development.

  • Occasional local travel to client sites in Boston, MA.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field.

  • 5 years of experience working with GAAP, 5 years of experience auditing financial statements; and 5 years of experience performing public accounting.

  • 3 years supervisory.

  • 3 years managing other accountants.

  • Must have active CPA or equivalent certification

  • Ability to manage all aspects of client engagements

  • Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally

  • Proficient use of applicable technology

  • Must be able to travel based on business needs

The annual salary target for this job in this market is $120,000-$200,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
