rong>Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Public Tax Reviewer to join our client's team. This fully remote position involves reviewing tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal and state tax regulations, and providing exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and tax preparation, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency with tax software and related tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure all tax filings adhere to federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to identify potential tax issues or discrepancies.
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and clarify any discrepancies or issues.
• Provide guidance and support to clients regarding tax-related inquiries and concerns.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless and efficient tax review process.
• Assist with tax planning and advisory services as needed.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all tax-related documents and correspondence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in tax preparation and review.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in tax software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel) and other related tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
