Responsibilities

  • Presents the Company's value proposition to clients

concerning various company products and services and uses prescribed selling

techniques.

  • Conducts a thorough in-person interview with potential

clients, using the company's propriety tax software application.

  • Delivers exceptional customer service by anticipating

customer needs and considers the impact of all decisions/actions on the

customer.

  • Answering client calls via our national call center

routing system.

  • Completes all related tax forms in accordance with

policies, and in compliance with legislation and regulations. Furnishes

taxpayers with sufficient information and advice to ensure correct tax form

completion.

  • Consults tax law reference materials to determine

procedures for preparation of atypical returns.

  • Answers questions and provide future tax planning to

clients.

  • Reviews financial records such as income statements and

documentation of expenditures to determine forms needed to prepare tax returns.

  • Researches tax related questions and issues, and responds

to clients appropriately and within a timely manner.

  • Resolves client complaints, or refers situations to

supervisor (as appropriate) for resolution

  • Audits all tax return forms for accuracy and completeness

(i.e., client signatures).

  • This position has access to and regularly works with

information of a sensitive, highly confidential nature, and regularly deals

with diverse matters which require a working knowledge of the business.

Required

Qualifications

  • Top candidates for this position will have retail

experience providing exceptional client service and performing multiple tasks

in a fast paced environment.

  • Hands-on marketing with surrounding businesses, including

office visits to promote brand awareness and new clientele

  • High School Degree or equivalent

  • Experience preferably in sales, service and tax

preparation

  • PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number) required

  • Good communication, interpersonal and customer services

skills

  • Basic knowledge of computer functions and math required.

  • Ability to lift a maximum of 25 lbs

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced working

environment

Preferred

Qualifications:

  • Field Instructor, Remote Support and Call Center certified
  • 1+ years of experience preferably in sales, service and or

tax preparation

  • Remote Support or Call Center ready certified

  • Enrolled Agent (EA) certification

Direct and coordinate activities to assure proper implementation of established sales/merchandising programs. Ensure store conditions are maintained; oversee preparation for evening close/next day operations. Oversee the night manager and night crew. Essential Job Functions: * Ensure a positive shopping environment for customers and a positive working environment for associates. * Effectively communicate with customers and respond to questions/requests in a timely solutions oriented manner. * Ensure proper product handling to control shrinkage/waste. * Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers. * Operate equipment (e.g., hand jack, flatbed, fork lift, box cutter, scanner, telephone, register and computer) according to company guidelines. * Manage store operations during the 'off shifts' in the store director's absence. * Walk the store to monitor/coach associates to ensure engagement and work direction follow through. * Ensure products and displays are properly stocked, merchandised to plan and meet quality standards. * Manage store preparation for next day operations, which includes closing through opening the following morning; assess store inside/outside (lobby/parking lot) for optimal overall conditions. * Ensure proper staffing to address service levels and efficient labor utilization. * Assist with hiring/onboarding new associates; provide feedback through effective performance management; identify/develop talent. * Ensure associates adhere to company policies/procedures, as well as local, state and federal laws/regulations. * Comply with/reinforce food safety, sanitation and safety regulations/guidelines/procedures and programs according to company, local, state and federal health code regulations; identify unsafe conditions and take corrective action; follow all store/department policies/procedures. * Physical demands include, but are not limited to, frequently walking, standing, turning, kneeling, reaching, squatting and stooping/bending. Occasionally lift/carry 15 to 100 lbs., push/pull 100 to 2,500 lbs., crawl, climb ladders and walk on uneven ground, exposure to wet surfaces and varied temperatures. * Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports. * Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
