Jackson Hewitt offers training (certification by state) related to income tax preparation and the delivery of excellent customer service, flexible hours (part-time and full-time) and bonus potential. This position has access to and regularly works with information of a sensitive, highly confidential nature, and regularly deals with diverse matters which require a working knowledge of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Presents the Company's value proposition to clients concerning various company products and services and uses prescribed selling techniques.

  • Conducts a thorough in-person interview with potential clients, using the company's propriety tax software application. Delivers exceptional customer service by anticipating customer needs and considers the impact of all decisions/actions on the customer.

  • Answering client calls via our national call center routing system.

  • Completes all related tax forms in accordance with policies, and in compliance with legislation and regulations. Furnishes taxpayers with sufficient information and advice to ensure correct tax form completion.

  • Consults tax law reference materials to determine procedures for preparation of atypical returns.

  • Answers questions and provide future tax planning to clients.

  • Reviews financial records such as income statements and documentation of expenditures to determine forms needed to prepare tax returns.

  • Researches tax related questions and issues, and responds to clients appropriately and within a timely manner.

  • Resolves client complaints, or refers situations to supervisor (as appropriate) for resolution

  • Audits all tax return forms for accuracy and completeness (i.e., client signatures).

Requirements

Tax Preparer I

  • Presents the Company's value proposition to clients concerning various company products and services and uses prescribed selling techniques.

  • Top candidates for this position will have retail experience providing exceptional client service and performing multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.

  • Hands-on marketing with surrounding businesses, including office visits to promote brand awareness and new clientele

  • High School Degree or equivalent.

  • 0-1 years of experience preferably in sales, service and or tax preparation.

  • Good communication, interpersonal and customer services skills.

  • Basic knowledge of computer functions required.

  • Must be able to obtain certification by the state with a PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number).

  • Ability to lift a maximum of 25 lbs.

Tax Preparer II

  • Presents the Company's value proposition to clients concerning various company products and services and uses prescribed selling techniques.

  • Top candidates for this position will have retail experience providing exceptional client service and performing multiple tasks.

  • Hands-on marketing with surrounding businesses, including office visits to promote brand awareness and new clientele

  • High School Degree or equivalent.

  • 1-2 years of experience preferably in sales, service and or tax preparation.

  • Remote Support or Call Center ready certified required.

  • Previous experience in tax preparation and filing a plus.

  • Good communication, interpersonal and customer services skills.

  • Basic knowledge of computer functions required.

  • PTIN certification (Preparer Tax Identification Number).

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced working environment.

  • Ability to lift a maximum of 25 lbs.

Tax Preparer III

  • Presents the Company's value proposition to clients concerning various company products and services and uses prescribed selling techniques.

  • Top candidates for this position will have retail experience providing exceptional client service and performing multiple tasks.

  • Field Instructor, Remote Support and Call Center certified.

  • Hands-on marketing with surrounding businesses, including office visits to promote brand awareness and new clientele

  • High School Degree or equivalent.

  • 2+ years of experience preferably in sales, service and or tax preparation.

  • Experience completing complex returns.

  • Must have current PTIN.

  • Good communication, leadership, interpersonal and customer services skills.

  • Basic knowledge of computer functions required.

  • Enrolled Agent (EA) certification preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced working environment

  • Ability to lift a maximum of 25 lbs.

Are you ready to receive the training and experience to move into a specialized area of nursing? Swedish's Fellow RN Program could be the next step in your nursing career! We are hiring RN Fellows for our Intensive Care Unit at Swedish First Hill. The Fellow RN program provides experienced acute care nurses with education and training (typically 12-24 weeks) in specialty areas that match their interests and career goals. The next cohort starts April 1, 2019 Our Fellow RN training program provides participants with: * The opportunity to experience the program in a setting that provides a consistent and structured experience. * Integrated classroom and clinical experiences under the guidance and support of Preceptors, Clinical Educators and Professional Development Specialists. Clinical experience is under the direct one on one supervision of a Preceptor. * Simulated Clinical Experience with high fidelity mannequins, which offers the opportunity to practice in a safe and educationally structured environment. * Numerous professional development opportunities both at the individual level as well as opportunities to participate in shared leadership, our Nursing Quality leadership group, among others.   Registered Nurses at Swedish are responsible for providing nursing care adapted to individual patient needs based on the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. He or she is also responsible for delegation and supervision of personnel, as states above, that participate in the provision of care to ensure that patient needs and expected outcomes are met.   In this position you will:   * Collect pertinent assessment data including present condition, past history, physical, spiritual and psychosocial information * Develop, review and revise an individualized care plan * Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians and coworkers * Utilize the nursing process to prepare for discharge/transfer, beginning with admission and continuing throughout hospitalization Application Process * Applications are screened by the Human Resources Department. Applicants that successfully meet the requirements of the position will be contacted for a phone interview with the Nurse Recruiter. Additional interviews will be conducted with the hiring manager and peer interview team for those applicants who are successful in the HR screening process. Important information regarding the Fellow RN Program: * The Fellow RN program is an intensive training program with strict schedules. Time off or scheduling requests during orientation will not be accommodated. * Nurses in the training program are required to sign a 2 year/$5000 agreement. Participants agree to remain employed as a RN at Swedish for a period of at least 2 years after completion of the Fellow RN program or are required to pay a sum of $5000. (Prorated to the time spent employed by Swedish.)
