KPMG is currently seeking an Associate, Tax Operations to join our International Tax organization.
Prepare and process engagement letters, master service agreements, statements of work, and member firm agreements, including creating opportunities, KPET, and coordination with risk management
Assist with invoicing, and manage monthly or quarterly accrual analysis and communications to clients, and maintain tracking systems for required billings and receivables/collections
Provide non-technical support for the International tax team, including assisting with file management (including maintaining files in Orion, and Quality Review information compilation) and data analysis/summaries as requested
Assist the International Tax team with travel, time and expense submissions, conference room reservations, catering reservations and meeting set-up, and similar administrative matters
Analyze and track financial information relating to the International Tax Practice and building processes to assist with managing and projecting costs, revenues and collections as needed
Assist International Tax personnel with review and analysis of tax return data inputs and other compliance related functions during peak busy seasons
Minimum of two years of prior work experience, preferably in a tax services environment
Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
Excellent project management, administrative and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and people skills with the ability to interact with clients and KPMG member firm professionals
Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Access with advanced skills using Excel
Possess a team-oriented attitude, take on new challenges and learn about KPMG's tax practice; willingness to be an essential part of the team and to help the team to succeed by assisting in a variety of different areas
