The Tax Manager will report to the Director, Tax Reporting and Compliance.
Strong knowledge of tax accounting rules under ASC 740
Assist in quarterly and annual calculations of the global tax provision, effective tax rate, balance sheet and external tax disclosures (Forms 10K, 10Q, etc.)
Assist in the enhancement of the Tax Provision Software - One Source
Forecasting of cash taxes and quarterly and annual effective tax rates based on current year forecast
Work cross-functionally and act as technical resource to other functional groups.
Identify process improvements for various tax processes and implement change for best practices
Oversee company domestic SOX 404 compliance
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, JD or Masters Degree in Taxation. CPA preferred.
A minimum 5 years of tax experience with strong domestic and international tax skills. Strong preference for public and global private industry experience.
Must be an aggressive self starter with the proven ability to make decisions and follow through on projects through completion.
Working knowledge of core international and domestic tax principles including subpart F and Subchapter C.
Global business acumen and working knowledge of the tax rules for most of the major foreign countries in Europe, Asia and Latin America.
Must be a detail oriented active learner with the ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities and complete work timely and accurately with minimal supervision. Must be able to manage and develop subordinates.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to professionally represent the tax department when interacting with senior management, other functions in the Company and outside advisors.
Strong problem solving, organizational and time/process management skills are a must to complete multiple assignments on a timely basis. Strong documentation skills are desirable.
