The Tax Manager will be a key contributor to the corporate tax function, reporting to the Tax Director. The right individual will be very hands-on and participate in all areas of taxes including tax compliance, tax audits, US and Foreign income tax provision and involvement with IFRS basis calculation. Duties and working experiences will be diversified from quarter to quarter on the following areas:
Work with the in-house tax team as well as the external tax consultants to prepare the Companys annual and quarterly ASC 740 (SFAS 109) tax provision and related footnote disclosures for SEC filing including the annual effective tax rate, income tax payable, uncertain tax benefits, and foreign tax provision.
Design and maintain the working papers and to support tax reporting and compliance and internal control requests related to taxes (provision, deferred taxes, current payable, FIN48, etc.).
Manage U.S. tax compliance and/ or foreign tax compliance, working closely with outside tax advisors and service providers.
Identify process improvements for various tax processes, implement changes for best practices.
Participate in other special projects as needed.

Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree and 2-4 years of people management experience
Post-graduate work is desirable
OR equivalent combination of education and years of related experience

Preferred Requirements

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in accounting or another related program.
6 8 years combined experience in both public accounting and multinational high-tech industry.
CPA or/and MST preferred.
A good knowledge of ASC740 (FAS 109).

Working knowledge of federal and multi-state tax return preparation and R&D credit study.
Strong accounting and analytical skills research proficiency.
A plus to have the experiences of preparing the foreign tax package, with the understanding of tax impacts arising from US GAAP to Statutory GAAP adjustments.
Ability to work cross functionally and independently and well-rounded to work as a team in a team environment.
Good project management skills.
Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task. Must be a self-starter.
