Essential Functions:

  • Provide a final technical review on tax returns and documents for the majority of client base

  • Research tax issues and resolutions/recommendations for those issues

  • Stay abreast of developments and changes in tax law and accounting procedures

  • Direct, coordinate, schedule and exercise functional authority for planning, organizing, coordinating and interfacing with clients to ensure all deadlines are met

  • Communicate and interface with clients to ensure the clients' best interests are achieved

  • Direct and support subordinates' activities to achieve objectives and set budgets by providing necessary resources and creating an enjoyable work environment to ensure quality and high performance

  • Facilitate the monitoring of the quality of our product and the performance of our personnel

  • Assign, track and manage tasks/projects that are sent to staff/supervisors to prepare

  • Take an active role in developing staff and supervisors

  • Continually build and nurture an internal and external network and leverage effective relationships to develop new business opportunities

  • Manage and oversee real-time and monthly billing functions and collections, and monitor additions to WIP, aging and write-downs

  • Facilitate and participate in "in-house" CPE and training activities

Requirements:

  • CPA Certification is required

  • Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience

  • Demonstrated leadership ability

  • Well-developed decision-making skills and initiative to make those decisions

  • Work calmly and effectively under pressure

  • Prioritize a heavy work load and remain organized

VIEW JOBS 10/25/2021 12:00:00 AM 2022-01-23T00:00 <p><strong>JOB SUMMARY:</strong></p> <p>Quality Assurance Manager will work under direction of Director of Regulatory to develop, implement, manage, and continually improve the Liberty Heath Sciences quality and product safety programs. </p><p>DFMMJ Investments, LLC, d/b/a Liberty Health Sciences Florida, Ltd. is a Medical Marijuana Treatment Center that has been granted a license by the Florida Department of Health to cultivate, process, transport, and dispense low-THC cannabis, medical cannabis, and cannabis delivery devices pursuant to Florida Statutes.<br></p><p><br></p> <p><strong>CORE RESPONSIBILITIES</strong>: <br></p><ul> <li>Conduct monthly GMP/Sanitation/Security inspections and follow up on corrective actions</li> <li>Perform Pre-operational checks including sanitation swabbing</li> <li>Perform quality checks on incoming materials</li> <li>Sampling of raw materials</li> <li>Assist with document control and change management</li> <li>Perform in-process tests and inspections as needed</li> <li>Manage the retain sample inventory, and stability pull samples</li> <li>Assist in investigating consumer complaints by determining root cause, implementing corrective actions and preventive measures, responding to complaints in the required time-frame, and analyzing complaint trends.</li> <li>Initiate and conduct Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA) investigations.</li> <li>Member of HACCP team.</li> <li>Maintain records for GMP training, including QPs, SOPs etc.</li> <li>Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices as outlined in the QA Manual</li> <li>Perform other duties as needed and requested by the Director of Regulatory</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>DESIRED SKILLS &amp; EXPERIENCE:</strong></p><ul> <li>Must be able to work independently and as a team</li> <li>Successful applicants will be asked to undergo a background check</li> <li> Quality related experience in food, pharmaceutical or other related field preferred</li> <li>Basic computer skills</li> </ul><p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p><ul> <li>Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, and safety lift up to 25lbs</li> <li>Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time (I.e. gloves, lab coat, hair net)</li> <li>Appropriate grooming for work environment (no jewelry, hair must be tied back, no hair outside of PPE)</li> </ul><p><strong>Position Type/Expected Hours of Work</strong></p> <p>This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday.</p><p><br></p> <p><strong>Required Education and Experience</strong></p> <p>Bachelor of Science</p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>Medical benefits, dental and vision on the first of the month after 60 days of employment.</p> <p><br></p><p>Liberty Health Sciences, LLC, provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics or veteran status.
