One of Nashvilles acclaimed law firms seeks a true professional paralegal for the following Duties: Supporting (4) attorneys in delivering a comprehensive estate plan for clients, including, but not limited to, maintaining accurate and detailed records of client data; Drafting estate planning documents for the client, with attorney supervision (including Revocable Trusts, Wills, Advance Health Care Directives, Durable Powers of Attorney, etc.) Other documents include preparing and recording deeds and other forms; Proofreading and finalizing documents for client signature; Managing cases and deadline tracking; Creating client copies of relevant documents, including estate planning binders; Organizing large quantities of client paper and electronic documents and files; Communicating directly with clients, beneficiaries, appraisers, and asset managers by phone, e-mail, and formal written Must be knowledgeable of the current tax programs GEMS or other tax-related programs strongly preferred Working knowledge of the probate process with the probate court Possess strong mathematical skills; Technically proficient in: Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Word, Excel and Outlook, as well as Adobe Acrobat; Drafting experience, including clear and concise general correspondence and legal documents; Exemplary organizational skills, keen attention to detail, strong client service skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure; Ability to multi-task, exercise logical and proactive thinking and set priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment; and Confidentially maintain clients information and data, is an integral part of the position.
Job requirements: Achieved 5 years of sophisticated tax and estate law experience, preferably with a medium to large law firm Experience in corporate governance and/or financial related experience Possess strong academic background; college degree and/or a paralegal certificate required, ABA-approved Exhibit advanced grammar, communication and organizational skills Comfortable working independently as well as a member of a team in a fast paced environment Salary based on experience and credentials.
