Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor s Degree. A minimum of three years of experience in the development, implementation, and/or auditing of quality assurance programs, to include experience in data analytics or information technology reporting tools (associated certifications may substitute for the required experience). Additional experience in the development, implementation, and/or auditing of quality assurance programs may substitute for required education on a year-for-year basis.

The Tax Collector Quality Analyst is tasked with developing and implementing quality assurance standards and measures to enhance business process efficiency. This role specifically supports various systems including the TaxSys tax collection and billing system, Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV) systems, and electronic file transmissions.

Responsibilities encompass acting as a technical support liaison between Grant Street Group (provider of tax system) and DHSMV, identifying automation opportunities, conducting financial and programmatic research, analyzing custom reports, and managing user profiles within Microsoft Active Directory and the tax collection and billing system. Additionally, the role involves efficiently creating, tracking, and managing support tickets across multiple help desk solutions, and ensuring the department's business applications are scalable for future growth. This entails researching available software options, conducting demos, gathering stakeholder feedback, and conducting cost-benefit analyses.
